The Jain Studies Program held its Bhagwan Mahavir Nirvan Kalyanak Lecture, "Nonviolence: An Education Imperative" by Tara Setha, California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. In the context of increasing forms of violence around us, especially on school and college campuses, Dr. Tara Sethia underscores the need for education about nonviolence and nonviolent social change.
