The Václav Havel Initiative for Human Rights and Diplomacy is hosting a special presentation on “Economics of Transition” from the Central European perspective, presented by Dr. Jan Švejnar, the eminent American-based, Czech-born economist who currently serves as the James T. Shotwell Professor of Global Political Economy and Director of Columbia University’s Center for Global Economic Governance.
