The Jain Studies Program hosted its Fifth Annual Mahavir Jayanthi Lecture, "Jain Ethics in Philosophical Perspective", by Jayandra Soni, Innsbruck University, Austria. Dr. Soni's lecture will reflect on the Jain story of the person trapped in a well to discuss questions of predicament, purification, salvation and liberation.
